GROUP
CRITIQUES: Each artist should have a clean, neat
presentation of works, with good lighting, and the works at proper viewing
height. Students should consult with their advisors about their presentation
well before the event. Make sure there
is adequate seating. All senior majors in studio and art history are required
to attend.

May 6 Thursday Studio artists: written statements due. The final version should be a Microsoft Word
document. Attach it to an email sent to
all art faculty and ART 499+500 students.
Print three extra copies to bring along to the defense for guests. Each recipient of the emailed statements
should print them and bring them to the discussion for reference.
May 7-10 Friday to Monday Installation of senior show.
May 11 Tuesday Senior show opens. Last day of classes.

May 17 Monday By appt. Inspection of studio spaces: Make an
appointment with your faculty adviser. The studios must be clean and entirely
empty before your meeting. If it is not clean, you will be asked to work on it
immediately and not leave until it is satisfactory. This includes scraping
paint, plaster or other gunk off work surfaces and the floor. The space must be ready for occupation by the
next student with no cleaning required.
May 23 Sunday Last day of Senior Show. Commencement. You may remove work immediately after the
ceremony, or on Monday.
