Drawing is the foundation of all the arts.

At Centre, students learn the tradition of figure drawing, and master the skills required to draw what they see. They draw from life, going outside to see and interpret the landscape, staying in the studio to develop bigger works, or to draw from models and still lifes. Drawing is the basis for painting and printmaking. It opens the possibilities for ceramicists, sculptors and glass artists to express their ideas on paper and to keep sketchbooks.

Drawing enables anyone to communicate in a language without words.
