Deborah Jones, Director
Deborah holds a B.S./B.A. from Indiana University, and an M.B.A. and
Ed.S from Appalachian State University. She has worked in higher education
in the areas of career services and budget management, and has also
worked in retail and restaurant management. When not helping college
students with their career decision-making and job search process,
you will most likely find her horseback riding. Feel free to contact

| Joy Anderson Asher, Associate Director
Joy holds a B.S. from Centre College and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology
from the University of Kentucky. She is a Lexington native and has
a background in career counseling and placement. When not helping
Centre students with their career development or working on Career Services' web page, Joy enjoys spending time with her husband David and son Daniel, singing
with Lexington Singers, reading, and watching

Melinda Wilson, Assistant Director for Employer Relations and Internships
Mindy holds a B.A. from Point Loma Nazarene University in Literature
and Spanish and an M.A. in Comparative Literature from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a native of California and
has worked with foster care teenagers, teaching independent living
skills, as well as teaching Freshman Composition and Spanish at the
university level. When not assisting students with internships, Mindy enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, Centre professor Ian Wilson, and her daughter Sophie. Feel free to contact

| Sherri Gowins, Administrative Assistant
Sherri is a native of Harrodsburg. She has two children: Derrick
and Whitney. Her husband, Troy, also has two children: Cody and
Travis. When she is not assisting in Career Services, you will find
Sherri singing, fishing, or playing with her dog, Sally. Sherri
