Hi! Welcome to Daydream Farm. Daydream Farm is not a commercial enterprise but just my little backyard farm. When growing up, I always dreamed about having a little farm and having horses. I got the horse when I was 13 but didn't get the farm until a few years ago. Trust me, it was a very long wait! As with most new farm owners, my animal population has grown exponentially. I hope you enjoy perusing my professional life, and the photos of my critters.

In addition to a passion for animals in general and horses in particular, I also enjoy whitewater rafting and reading. It's a little tough to fit these hobbies around a full-time job and a farm but that makes it all the more special when I have time. I've had the opportunity to go whitewater rafting a number of times. It's exciting that some truly wonderful rafting takes place along the same river, the New River, where my grandfather used to take us fishing. The rafting company we usually use is Wildwater Expeditions. While you are there, check out Babcock State Park. My grandfather helped build this park as part of the works program in the Great Depression. I spent many a summer in this park while growing up.

Being an admitted geek, my favorite books are The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov.
