Below is Spencer Road. I adopted Spencer from Rerun, an organization which "recycles" ex-racehorses. Spencer was on the track as a three year old but, lucky for me, was a failure as a racehorse. Sadly, I lost Spencer on September 17, 2006. She was a wonderful, sweet mare. Spencer was out of Kidogo and by Northern Flagship. This photo was before I started riding her. Check out Rerun! They have some wonderful horses available for adoption.

Below is Silken Dreams (aka Briana). She's a registered Anglo-Trakehner out of Susquehanna Mist (TB) and is by Falke (Trakehner), the gray in the picture gallery. I wasn't looking for a horse when I found Bri. She had just turned four and didn't even pick up all her feet. In spite of being afflicted with Photic Headshaking Syndrome, she is still a blast to ride and is constantly teaching me new things. Go here for information on the Trakehner breed.
