It' a little
known fact that, when one lives on a farm, cats tend to reproduce
even if you get them all fixed. I had always figured I would have
two house cats and two barns cats. That hasn't quite worked out.

| To
the right are Mercedes (swatting at ornament) and Hansa. Mercedes
was named for Mercedes Lackey who has written books that have a character
like a giant-sized flame point Siamese. Hansa was one of these characters
in one of her books. Although not from an adoption agency, they still
had some trouble finding homes. Flame
(or Red) Point Siamese are not registerable in this country and
many people don't think they are Siamese when they see them. So, go
to Siamese Rescue and adopt
a Flame Point! |

| Below
are Alexander (gray, named for James Alexander Thom) and Eliot (tabby,
named for T.S.Eliot). They were acquired as barn cats. Alexander had
other ideas and is now a house cat. |

| As
an animal lover and a sometimes transportation volunteer for Siamese
Rescue, I know how many unwanted animals are out there.
Please spay or neuter your pets! I can't take them all! |

| This
is Nuisance. He was a starving kitten who found me in July 2002. He's
no dummy! Click here to see what he looked
like then. |
