The following question refers to a 500 kg roller coaster car that follows the path plotted on the graph below.

1. If the affects of wind resistance and rolling resistance (friction) can be ignored, predict the speed of the coaster at points B, C, and D if the speed at point A=0 m/s.

2. Repeat question 1 if the speed at point A is 5 m/s.

3. Find the speed of the coaster at points B, C, and D if A=0 m/s and the average force due to rolling resistance and air resistance is 200 N. Assume that the coaster travels a distance of 50 m between each set of consective points. (i.e. the total distance traveled between points A and B = 50 m)

4. Repeat question 3 if the speed of the coaster at point A= 5 m/s.
