RESOURCES FOR TEACHER EDUCATION
The Teacher Education Program is housed in Young Hall, but additional resources in the Doherty
library include a children's and adolscent literature collection and a curriculum resource section.

Faculty Offices (G314, G315, & G316)
Professors Murray, Plummer and Rudd have video and digital camcorders and tripods that may be checked out by education students. Several digital cameras are also available from the education faculty members.
Resource Room (G320A)
This room serves as a student work room. The computers are connected to the Centre network as well as to printers and scanners.
Available in this room is equipment such as a binding machine for creating booklets; and an Ellison machine for making letters, math manipulatives, and other teacher materials. Also housed in the room are numerous materials for teaching such as unit plans, paper and craft supplies, and reference books. A binder lists the "Software Holdings of Centre College's Education Program".
Doherty Library and Crounse
Resources for teacher education students are also housed in Doherty Library. In addition to books, periodicals, and reference books dealing with education, students can take advantage of the new electronic databases and of such services as computer literature searches and interlibrary loans.
At the north end of the second floor of the library the curriculum resource collection is located. The children's and adolescent literature collection is also housed in this area.
Library hours are:
Monday-Thursday 7:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Friday 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m.
On the basement floor of Crounse is the Center for Teaching and Learning.
