Conditions of Agreement

  1. Cancellation of events must be made to Combs Center/Warehouse or Student Life Office (SLO) personnel at least 24 hours in advance.
  2. The advisor or appropriate faculty/staff representative must be present throughout the event.
  3. The SLO reserves the right to deny this request or cancel the reservation if it conflicts in any way with the general policy of the college regarding events on campus.
  4. The SLO reserves the right to change this reservation to other facilities with the understanding that, where possible, comparable space will be provided. When a change is necessary, these changes will be made in consultation with the sponsoring organization or individual.
  5. The SLO reserves the right to check for insurance coverage for performers/speakers from outside the Centre community.
  6. Damage which is a result from other than normal wear and tear must be reported within 24 hours to the Combs Center/Warehouse personnel. Cost of repair or replacement must be assumed by the sponsoring organization or individual.
  7. For large events (i.e. dances, concerts), a maintenance employee must be in attendance at a cost to the sponsor. The sponsor is responsible for clean-up with the assistance of the maintenance employee.
  8. Any decorations must be approved by Combs Center/Warehouse personnel prior to the event.
  9. Any individual or organization using the Combs Center/Warehouse must be aware of and abide by state and local laws, as well as Centre College policies regarding sale, provision, possession, and use of alcoholic beverages (see Student Handbook).
