Practicing good laboratory safety techniques is one of the most important skills that students need to be aware of in any science discipline. At Centre College, laboratory safety is taken very seriously. We are committed to helping our students learn and use science in a safe environment. The Laboratory Safety Contract will help the students be better prepared in the laboratory.

Starting September 8, 2003, each student participating in a laboratory class, will be required to take the laboratory safety training program via the web. Incorporating this type of technology into the classroom will allow each student to learn the necessary safety precautions at their own pace and at their own time.
