Leadership
The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
-The Panhellenic Creed

Centre’s Greek community is filled with leaders.  Sorority women on our campus occupy a variety of leadership roles.  Some work with the Student Government Association (SGA) executive council.  Others are officers within academic honorary societies.  Some women lead by service as members of the Bonner program, while others are leaders on the athletic field.  Greek women on Centre’s campus are leaders of every kind; they are valedictorians, team captains, student leaders, and volunteers.  They are ambitious.  They are intelligent.  They are some of the most dedicated women you will ever meet.

This is not to mention the many leadership positions that sorority women hold within the Greek community.  Sororities provide their members with incredible opportunities for leadership experience, whether it is as Chapter President or as a committee member.  The Panhellenic Council exists in part to recognize the achievements of Centre’s sorority women, but it also provides leadership opportunities for Council members.  Delegates and officers alike have the ability to shape Greek life on Centre’s campus.

The Panhellenic Council recognizes leadership and initiative within the Greek community through monthly awards (like “Greek of the Month”) and annual awards presented at Grand Chapter at the end of the year.  Recent recipients of both are listed below:
