Service
We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life.
-The Panhellenic Creed

All of Centre’s sororities require their members to do a certain amount of service within the community, and in each of these organizations the women go well beyond the required number of hours.

Each sorority also has a national philanthropy.  They host service events each year sponsoring that philanthropy.  The national philanthropies for Centre’s chapters are listed below.

Alpha Delta Pi: Ronald McDonald House
Delta Delta Delta: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
Kappa Alpha Theta: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
Kappa Kappa Gamma: Reading is Fundamental

The Panhellenic Council organizes service events for the Greek community, such as the Greek 101 Day of Service planned in conjunction with the IFC. This day is for the new members of all 8 of our fraternties and sororities. Small groups of new members will be led by older members of each sorority, including the members of IFC and the Panhellenic Executive Council. More information and pictures coming soon...
