     There are two books that we recommend to freshman parents each year. Both are available at the Centre      Bookstore. They are:

     Making the Most of College (Harvard Press) by Richard J. Light.

     Letting Go: A Parent's Guide to Understanding the College Years (Third Edition) by Karen Levin Coburn      and Madge Lawrence Treeger (Harper Perennial, publishers).
