IMPORTANT ACADEMIC DATES AND DEADLINES FOR THE 2007-2008 ACADEMIC YEAR

FALL TERM
August 31	Friday	Permission to add a class requires permission of the instructor after this date. Last day to submit approved independent study form or internship contract to the Registrar's Office.
September 7	Friday	Last day to add a class or drop a class without a grade entry on the permanent record. Withdrawal from a class after this date will result in a grade of WP or WU.
September 7	Friday	Last day to register for a course on a pass/unsatisfactory basis. Only juniors and seniors are eligible except in the case of applied music courses. Other restrictions apply.
September 29	Saturday	Family Weekend
October 10	Wednesday	MIDTERM. Any withdrawal from a course after this date requires the approval of the Associate Dean and will be granted only for unavoidable cause such as illness or death in the family.
October 11-14	Thursday-Sunday	Fall Break
October 17	Wednesday	Mid-term Grades due in the Registrar's Office
October 27	Saturday	Homecoming
November 21-25	Wednesday - Sunday	Thanksgiving Break
November 30	Friday	Classes End
December 2-7	Monday-Friday	Final Examinations
December 10	Monday	Final Grades due in the Registrar's Office
December 14	Friday	Final Grades Available on the Web
CENTRETERM
