The Associated Colleges of the
South Environmental Initiative involves three alliances: Curriculum and Faculty
Development, Student Development and Engagement, and Campus-Community
Partnerships. Each of these alliances, along with the interns, faculty
fellows and facility fellows, work to raise
environmental consciousness on ACS campuses and act as liaisons for
myriad
environmental activities. Visit the ACS

The alliances focus on developing student leadership by supporting
external internships and student teaching assistantships, expanding academic environmental offerings,
promoting
partnerships between institutions and the surrounding communities,
and opening new international opportunities for environmental study and
research.
