The Student
Development and Engagement Alliance of the
ACS Environmental Program
invites individuals from ACS
institutions to apply for grant support for student development and
environmental engagement. We provide grants
in two areas:
-
Student
teaching assistantship grants provide support for students who
assist in the teaching of courses related to the environment.
This engagement in the teaching process offers experience and
reinforcement for the teaching assistants, more ample instruction
for the students, and a broader set of instructional possibilities
for the course instructors.
-
Internship
grants provide enabling funds for students with unpaid or
semi-paid internship opportunities associated with the environment.
Obtain an internship (see the internships link at left for
examples) and then apply for an ACS grant if you need more funds to
make it happen.
