Here I am in the Central Crater of Tongariro National 
Park, a World Heritage Site on the North Island of New 
Zealand, while teaching a class on volcanoes during 
the 3-week CentreTerm.
Here I am at Johnston Ridge Volcano Observatory in Washington with Mt. St. Helens in the background.
