Ask yourself the following questions:
One "yes" answer to any of the above questions suggests a possible alcohol problem. More than one "yes" answer means it is highly likely that a problem exists. Do not be afraid to seek help if you are in a bad situation! Talk to someone! Get help! There are many outlets for you to explore.
Kathy Miles is the Centre College Counselor (located in Parsons) and is always open to provide support and guidance. She is trained in helping those who are facing problems with alcohol, whether it be within themselves or their family and friends. Call her at 238-5740 to set up an appointment today! (Centre students are alotted a number of free visits per year.) If you would rather contact the Comprehensive Care Center here in Danville, the number there is 236-2726. (Centre students are alotted six free visits per year.) The 24-hour Crisis Line is 1-800-928-8000. You can also call the National Drug and Alcohol Treatment Referral Routing Service at 1-800-662-HELP (4357) for information about treatment programs in your local community and to speak to someone about an alcohol problem. There are several sites listed on the Links page that could serve your purposes, including the list of Kentucky drug rehabs.
