Student Activities
Housed on the third floor of the Combs Student Center, the Office of Student Activities is responsible for coordinating numerous fun and exciting campus events with student organizations and committees. It is also responsible for the daily calendar of events that occurs in the Student Center, commonly known as the Warehouse. The Office of Student Activities works most closely with one of our busiest student groups, the Student Activities Council (SAC), to bring to campus events like comedians, concerts, game shows and movies. SAC coordinates a full calendar of diverse events throughout the academic year, providing all students the chance for fun and entertainment. The Warehouse, a former hemp and railroad storage facility that has been renovated into a classic, state-of-the art student center, offers students game and recreation equipment, a restaurant and cyber-café, and meeting/study spaces.
Megan O'Brien serves as the Director of Student Activities. She works closely with the Drew McKinney, the President of the Student Activities Council, and other student leaders in our many campus organizations. |
