Student Activities / Campus Organizations

Centre students actively engage in campus life by participating in numerous and diverse student clubs and organizations. Many of these groups have historical or academic roots in the college. Others were formed by student initiative to suit student needs and interest. The College officially recognizes organizations through approval of their constitutions by the Office of Student Activities and the Student Government Association. However, new interest groups are formed each year which have officially registered with the College but choose to remain small and informal. Nonetheless, all of the campus organizations greatly contribute to campus life. Organization meetings and information are advertised in Notesworthy and the campus newspaper. Information is also provided on signs posted in the Cowan Dining Commons, the Combs Activities Center, residence halls, and academic buildings. The annual Student Activities EXPO is sponsored each fall to let registered campus organizations provide information to students as well as to recruit new members. Below is a listing of all recognized student organizations. Additionally, academic and leadership honorary societies are listed. These are organizations that require certain scholastic criteria or leadership experience to gain membership.
