C.A.R.E
/ Up 'Til Dawn / The Bonner Program / Other Service Opportunities / Greek Community Service Report Form

Membership in C.A.R.E., Up 'Til Dawn, and Bonner are just a few of the ways to become involved with service and philanthropy at Centre. Both Habitat for Humanity and Alpha Phi Omega exist as service organizations. Additionally, Greek and other campus organizations make significant service and philanthropic contributions. At Centre, you may also find opportunities to serve in the classroom. Several professors place a strong emphasis on service-learning.

An old man was planting a sapling peach tree when a young fellow stopped, and said, "I don't mean to sound brash, but it takes many years for a small tree to bear fruit. Do you really expect to eat the fruit from this tree?"

Rather than be offended the old man answered, "Probably not, but I've been eating fruit from trees others have planted all my life."

After-School Programs

What you do is up to you. It's also your call about how often you work the After-School Program into your schedule and whether you volunteer as an individual or in a group. You may decide to volunteer one day each week or month, or you may just plan a fun one time activity. Contact Patrick Noltemeyer via email at partick.noltemeyer@centre.edu for more information.
