Lab Time: Tuesdays
— Section a:
Instructor: André Wehner, Olin 111, Ph. 238-5919
The PHY 110 laboratory will consist of 11 experiments to be performed according to the schedule given below. A lab score based on the individual lab reports will be calculated and given to your PHY 110 instructor. One formal lab report will be required. It will be given a weight twice that of the other individual lab reports in the determination of your final score: up to 20 points for the formal lab report and up to 10 points for all others, for a total of 120 points. You turn in the regular lab reports at the end of class and the formal lab report at the following lab.
You must satisfactorily pass the lab in order to pass the course! You are required to attend the labs at your assigned time. The lab reports also serve as your proof of attendance. If you have a conflict for valid reasons, please see your lab instructor as soon as possible so that you can attend another lab section, or have a makeup arranged. You MUST bring graph paper, calculator, ruler and a copy of the experiment to all lab meetings. The graph paper should be millimeter paper (little boxes).
